I’m really sick of people saying that whoever the latest Finnick Odair rumour is about is ‘not hot enough’ to play him.
Think about it.
NOBODY IS HOT ENOUGH TO PLAY FINNICK.
Finnick is described as the most naturally beautiful man to ever walk the earth’s grounds. Now, I’m sure you could argue that
or this guy
or this guy
or this guy
or even this guy
could fit those requirements, but everyone has their own opinion, and everyone saw Finnick differently when they read the books. We’ve been waiting months to know who’s going to play him. Be thankful that they’re telling us, because they sure as hell don’t have to. Trust that Lionsgate knows what they’re doing. Think about the first one. I know very few who supported Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, or Willow Shields right from the start. Even I had my doubts. But they all proved us wrong. That entire cast was incredible. So stop saying that this one cast member will ruin the movie for you, or even ruin the books, because a movie adaption of a book should never ruin the book itself. It never will. And think about it, it could be a whole lot worse.
Kindly stop saying Sam Claflin, for instance, as he’s quite possibly our Finnick, will ruin the movie. We go through this every time a beloved character is cast. Have some faith in the movie producers and casting directors. They know what they’re doing, and they know that they can’t mess this role up.
